Who Is Gavin Lew?

Gavin has over 25 years of experience in corporate and academic settings. He founded User Centric and expanded it into the largest private user experience (UX) consultancy in the US. After he sold the company, Gavin led a North American UX team, transforming it into one of the parent organization's most profitable business units. He is currently founder and managing partner of Bold Insight, a leading UX research consultancy with over 80 researchers. After almost 100 research projects uncovering what users want and expect from Al features in their products, and supporting clients developing these Al tools, Gavin co-authored the recently published book 'Al and UX: Why Artificial Intelligence Needs User Experience.' He often speaks at national and international conferences and holds several patents as an inventor. He contributes as an adjunct professor at DePaul and Northwestern Universities. Gavin earned his MA in Experimental Psychology from Loyola University.
